Araldite® Super Strength

Araldite Super Strength is a two-part epoxy paste adhesive that bonds with high strength. Initial bonding achieved in 6-8 hours with maximum bond strength after 3 days.
Uses
The high strength achieved by Araldite Super Strength is ideal for tasks that require excellent strength and durability. Araldite Super Strength has excellent adhesion to a broad range of surfaces such as ceramics, glass, most rigid plastics, metals, most timber and fabric.

- Very high water and weather resistance
- Forms a rigid, durable bond
- Gap filling
- Good chemical resistance
- Heat Resistant
Application Tips
For faster bond time or excellent clarity use Araldite Ultra Clear adhesive.
Heating the bond to between 40oC and 100oC while curing can increase the cure rate and final strength of Araldite Super Strength.
- Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene
- Note: Polypropylene and polyethylene are used in many household articles, e.g. toys.
To identify these plastics: Cut a sliver from an inconspicuous part. Hold with tweezers and burn sliver. Thermoplastics burn with a blue flame and emit an odour like a candle.
- Bond strength weakens above 100oC but strength is regained when temperature drops
