Fast set adhesives

Two part adhesives cure in a defined timeframe because when mixed together the chemical reaction between them is “programmed”, complete and reliable. Selleys Araldite is a good example, and is available in extremely fast-curing forms (5 minutes). Hints: Two Part adhesives are slower to harden when they are cold. You can speed them up by warming the parts before mixing. In some cases fast types can be too fast if hot and should be cooled before mixing. A one part fast-cure type is Selleys Quick Fix Supa Glue range. These are very convenient as there is no mixing required. Supa glue can be brittle and can break when shocked. Quick Fix Shockproof Supa Glue overcomes this problem. Hint: Store supa glues in the fridge to keep them usable and always handy.
